  A panoramic view of a circus on a field in Chester, around the turn of the 20th century. A panoramic B&W photograph of the Adam Forepaugh and Sells Bros. Circus, set up in a field in Chester, around the time span of 1900 - 1912.

  A B&W photograph of a group of well-dress men pos ing for a group shot. They seem very relaxed, some look inebriated. There are two women in the group, maybe secretaries for an engineering firm or a law firm. The older woman looks furious, the younger is seated next to a man who has an arm around her, as he smiles and slumps in his chair. Inappropriate behavior appears to have happened and really annoyed the older woman. The younger one looks.... like women do when these things happen, smiling uncertainly. This is a good example of harrassment in the workplace.

  Laminated copy of a photograph showing the cemetery of St. Paul's Church, Chester, in 1952 as graves were removed for relocation. The city bought the land and the empty church, which it demolished. The Congregation had built a new church. On the reverse side is another photograph, this one of "Project Bethel Court's" park dedicated to local resident Ethel Waters.

  Seven B&W 5"x7" photographs of old buildings in Chester which have no date or location. Probably taken prior to "urban renewal", destructiion of the buildings. One is a close-up of the date of construction of one farmhouse, 1843. These photographs were accessioned as 2016.08, and can now befound in BoxP6 in the basement vault.

  A photograph copied from a book, of the McCoy family and their house in about 1908. They lived in Upper Darby and had a family tradition of working for the Delaware County Electric Company.

  Five sketches of signifcant colonial sites in Delaware County, made by artist Sandra Flately in 1974. The sites include The Caleb Pusey House, in Upland, The Washington House Inn, in Chester, sites important to signer John Morton and two copies of William Penn's ship on the Delaware River.

  A 5"x7" lithograph of a sketch by W.H. Ford, Western artist. He was asked to work on an advertising campaign by Marlboro Cigarettes and this sketch of a cowboy offering his horse an apple became the "Marlboro Man."

  Photograph of a Federal style house on a wooded lot. This may be the Benjamin West House in Swarthmore, but it is unidentifed in any way. The photo was accessioned as 2016.08 and is now located with the photos in Box P6.

  A photograph of three men gazing at a framed poster for a "grand torch procession" for the Lincoln-Hamlin ticket, at Cochranville on Oct. 27. The event was sponsored by "The WIde-Awakes", who advocated political activism. This was also accessioned as 2014.33, and is located with the photos from BoxP6, in the basement vault.

  A laminated photograph, probably from The Daily Times, of Edna Sweely of the DCHS displaying an American flag made by Mrs. Harlan Miller and her neighbors of the Shoemakerville section of Chester. The 35 star flag made sewn in honor of the "Chester Blues", the volunteers from Chester to fight in the Civil War. It flew for the first time April 24, 1862 as the men boarded the train for boot camp.

  A photograph of an old farm, undated . There are dairy cows in the photograph and the address of 4207 Chester Pike. There is also an enlargement of the photo. This has been accessioned as 2018.26 and can be found with the photos in BoxP6 in the basement vault.
